Every purchase helps us plant more native trees

Ireland has strong historical connection with trees, through Ancient Celtic Ogham Tree Alphabet and Brehon law, and was once covered by ancient forests. Although Ireland`s forest & Hedgerow has increased from 11% to 17% (between 2017-2022) it still has one of the lowest forest coverage area out of EU countries of 37.7%.

So we have decided to start new initiative and plant Native trees for every order and since 2021 we have planted over 1806 native trees and shrubs. We work with Tidy towns, farmers, nature sanctuaries and council to find suitable planting locations and we are regularly posting planting updates on our blog.
